In 1999 the Fritzmeier cabin group acquired their Vyškov plant near Brno in the Czech Republic with a total area of 20,000 m². The facility has now grown to 77,000 m², with more than 560 employees and has become the largest and most modern production plant within the Fritzmeier Group. In addition to the production of tubular steel structures and cladding parts for cabins, the plant also manufactures complex cabins for the off-highway sector. Among other technologies, this plant has a tube and 5-axis laser, a deep drawing press and several welding robots, as well as a modern continuous KTL paintshop. The main raw materials used are sheet metals (6.000 T per year) and special profiles (1.000 km per year) creating 35 different types of structures. The production consumes 16,000 km of welding wire per annum and the paint shop offers 33 standard colours and a further 40 special colours. Using these technologies, we produce annually around 25,000 doors and over 20,000 cabins in 60 different designs. From these products, the factory supplies 21 different customers in 10 countries, filling over 2,400 trucks per year.
