RESPONSIBILITY IN THE SUPPLY CHAIN
Fritzmeier's Ethical Principles apply not only right up to the factory gate, but also throughout the entire Fritzmeier supply chain.
As required under the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, the management board of Georg Fritzmeier GmbH & Co. KG has issued, with effect from 01.01.2024, a Policy Statement in accordance with the Corporate Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (LkSG). This Policy Statement applies to Georg Fritzmeier GmbH & Co. KG and its domestic subsidiaries as defined in Section 2 para. 6 sentence 3 LkSG and is available in German language only.
Accordingly, the companies of the Fritzmeier Group work exclusively with suppliers and other contractual partners whose basic values and commitment to ethical business behaviour are in line with the Fritzmeier Ethical Principles, including the requirements of the Code of Conduct for Suppliers of the Fritzmeier Group.
In order to identify human rights and environmental risks in the supply chain, Fritzmeier has also set up a complaints procedure that enables whistleblowers to report human rights and environmental risks and violations that have arisen as a result of Fritzmeier's business activities in its own business area or those of a direct supplier. Complaints can be submitted conveniently via the whistleblower portal (https://fritzmeier.meldung.clarius.legal/). They will be treated confidentially and processed by an independent committee in accordance with the rules of procedure created by Fritzmeier for this purpose.
Fritzmeier's annual report on the Corporate Supply Chain Due Diligence Act for the financial year ending 30 June 2024 (truncated reporting period 1 January 2024 to 30 June 2024) submitted to the Federal Office of Economics and Export Control can be found here.
